Welcome to Red Parka

Extreme Animal Facts - Jennifer Cossins
Red Parka is the creative business of Tasmanian artists Jennifer Cossins and Tracy Colhoun. Partners in both life and business, Jen and Tracy have a deep passion for the animal kingdom, bushwalking, coffee and all things bright and colourful. Their work endeavours to make people feel happy and connected to the earth while encouraging and fostering love and care for the natural world.
We donate 50% of profits
At Red Parka, we take seriously our responsibility to help make the world a better place, for humans, animals and of course the amazing planet we all rely upon for life itself. This is why we donate to a wide variety of charities and organisations that work to protect our planet, look after animals and promote equality and human rights for all. Giving back is a huge part of our business and as we grow, we aim to give back more and more every year!
Good Socks by Red Parka
Good for the environment!
Good Socks are made predominantly from bamboo. Bamboo contains a natural pesticide which means no chemicals are needed for it to be grown. It grows much faster and uses about 1/3 the amount of water as cotton, while absorbing around 5 times as much C02 as trees.
Good for your feet!
Good Socks are soft, breathable and comfortable with moisture wicking properties that help keep your feet dry and fresh.
Good for the world!
For every pair of socks we sell, we donate $1 to conservation charities so your socks can do even more good!
Supporting our LGBTQIA+ community
Red Parka has created a Pride Collection full of fun, colourful products that help raise money for organisations doing amazing work to support the LGBTQIA+ community, both here in Australia and overseas.
